For more than 50 years, Face to Face has been a trusted place for young parents as they navigate pregnancy, parenting, and the systemic barriers that often come with them, including housing instability, disrupted education, and poverty.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

But right now, that foundation is in crisis.<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>

An unexpected $160,000 cut in decades-old state funding threatens our ability to provide the prenatal care and wraparound support that young parents rely on, support that <\/span>ensures<\/span> not only healthy babies but healthy, resilient families.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

This isn\u2019t a planned transition. It\u2019s a devastating blow.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Since 1972, young people have walked through our clinic doors not just for checkups, but for connection, preparation, and support through parenthood.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Through personalized, trauma-informed care, we\u2019ve helped more than 6,000 young parents <\/span>and their babies<\/span> access the <\/span>support<\/span> they need, from medical visits and prenatal vitamins to therapy, case management, housing assistance, and parenting education. Our programs stop cycles of poverty and trauma before they begin. But that\u2019s only possible if our services continue<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Stories of Impact<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>

Kyndal was sixteen, pregnant, and terrified. At Face to Face, she found care, support, and a way forward. Through our prenatal program, she received medical care, safe sleep education, baby supplies, and was connected to a high school with on-site childcare. She graduated on time.<\/span> \"\"<\/span><\/p>

Amada and Joshua, newly married and expecting at 18, turned to Face to Face for more than checkups. They found a community through prenatal education, couples therapy, and guidance that helped them build a strong, stable relationship for their growing family, foundations that last even today.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

These stories aren\u2019t exceptions; they\u2019re what we do. Every day.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

And the parents we serve say it best:<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

\u201cOnce I started going to Face to Face, it was really inclusive. I could see staff that looked like me and of all backgrounds.\u201d<\/span><\/i> <\/span><\/p>

\u201cLike, there’s someone that basically has a checklist and telling me, we need this, we need to start this, we’re going to get you this. And then my whole pregnancy goes completely smooth… I’m enjoying it rather than freaking out and not knowing what else I need to get before it’s done.\u201d<\/span><\/i> <\/span><\/p>

The Only Clinic of Its Kind in the Twin Cities<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>

Face to Face is the only clinic in the Twin Cities offering personalized prenatal care specifically for low-income, unhoused, and marginalized young parents. We celebrate <\/span>young parents<\/span> with birthday cakes, hang their baby\u2019s photo on our wall, and meet every need without judgment.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

But if we don\u2019t close this funding gap, services will be interrupted. That means no place to turn for many pregnant youth. No check-ins. <\/span>No case management.<\/span> No vitamins. <\/span>No wraparound care.<\/span> No prenatal education. No safe start.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>
